Slinfold is one of the most ancient villages in the district, noted for its unusual collection of unspoilt Georgian houses, many hidden from view, but many more lining the winding thoroughfare "The Street" which is dominated by the century old St Peter`s church.
The area is just under 2000 hectares and has a population of 1796.
