Life is For Living is an event for over 50s that offers an opportunity to find out about different services and support available to them, try out new activities and meet new friends.  

The aim of the event is demonstrate how older people can have a good quality of life and how they can remain active and lead independent lives. 

Life is for Living 2007 will take place on Thursday 13 th September at the Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre and will be open to the public from 12 noon to 4pm.

The theme for this year is Health and Wellbeing . As the event is being held at the leisure centre there will be a lot of taster sessions for a variety of activities including, archery, trampolining, dance, as well as arts and craft etc.  There also be healthy eating exhibitions e.g. fresh fruit and smoothie tasting.

On Tuesday 21st August 2007 enjoy a ramble though Horsham's countryside from the comfort of your mobility scooter or wheelchair.

The Ramble starts from The Carfax, Horsham at 2pm and forms part of Horsham Shopmobility's 10th anniversary celebrations.

From 10am there will be an exhibition in The Carfax promoting Horsham Shopmobility. Why not come along and pick up your free copy of 'A Highway Code for Mobility Scooter Users'.
